This book is about very curious young boy who discovers a lonely porcupine living near the adge of the forest.Even though the porcupine is frightened at first, the boy is patient and gentle.Little by little, they become friends, and the story shows how kidness and understanding can bring even the most unexpected creats together.
My favourite part is when the boy finally gains the porcupines trust and the porcupine lets him sit close without running away.It is a calm, beautiful moments that show the start of a real friendship .
I thing you should read this book because it is sweet ,touching and teaches you to be kind to animals.
It was great and it made me happy.It was a great book to read and it has a wonderful story line .
