On a farm lived a rooster, Randy who slept all day. This bothered the hens. They called a meeting. They asked Randy to explain himself. He said that he didn’t care what the others think about him. The hens got very angry. He wasn’t welcome there anymore. Randy decided to go around the lake and into the forest to find a new place to live. He sat under a tall tree and slept. But a huge goat, Gary, scared him. He charged towards him until he was out of the forest. Then Randy found a tall tree and climbed. But an owl woke him up. Ortis the owl explained him that in the tree live night birds and that he will never sleep. The owls and bats were making so many loud sounds. Randy couldn’t sleep and decided to go back to his coop. When the sun was up Randy crowed with all his strength. The hens heard him and they were very proud of him. From that day Randy was always the first to wake up in the morning and learned that you can only change if you want to.
