One boys journey is a book about a yong fulani boy named yoro that lives in Africa.The book tells us about Yoro’s and orther people’s lives who live there and it also tells us about yoros journey.the mission of the journey is to bring back fat cattle when a young boy comes home with healthy cattle he is considered to be a man.Yoro has to bring the cattle back in perfect (almost) condition,by doing the Yoro will be selected by his girlfriends parents to marry her.Yoro starts his journey at diafarabe and walks into mautitania.Yoro gets very tired and thirsty but he doesnt stop because his cattle means the world to him and hemust get it home safely.After the long journey Yoro finaly brings his cattle home safelyso bothge him and Aissa (his girlfriend) are happy and can spend time together.After a while Yoro can tell her about his intentions of marrying her and make a decision about it.
