Living with a Volcano

Living with a Volcano is a book about nature, written by Rob Waring, with the main character being Salvatore Caffo, who is a volcanologist.

Caffo is studying the movements of Etna and warns about eruptions. The book also says about the interaction between the humankind and the Volcano in the island of Sicily in Italy, when and how did Etna form, some long and dangerous eruptions of Etna and what happened to some villages during them.

The book is well-written, it has a pretty interesting plot, but the end was predictable. My favourite part was when Caffo said that Etna’s surprises is what makes his job challenging.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is keen on science.
