This book tell us that the weaving process firstly started in a small village with just one sheep with traditional methods.Usually womens were weaving on Mondays and Saturdays.Nilda Cayanupa is the leader of the center and she was managing the cooperative.Farming has been a tradition in Chinchero for a long time.However the economy is changing.Farming no longer bring enough money to support a family there.They also take the wool from the seep and woven it into cloth.Weaving has also become more important for the culture of Chinchero.It has become a way to make the textile tradition alive.As young women of Chinchero learn to weave they also learn to be self-sufficent.They can sell the blankets to make moneys and help their families
