Chris Claremont’s x-men : the last stand takes the 2006 film and gives it more heart and depth. The story focuses on a ”cure” for mutations that divides the mutant community and explores the emotional struggles of characters like Jean Grey as she transforms into the Phoenix.
While the pacing isn’t perfect the book adds layers of complexity and emotion to the story making it a great read for fans who want to connect more with the characters.
