This book is about pumpkins!!! It is Halloween season and the story takes us to the house of Andy Shane. He gets a visit from his friend, Dolores. Dolores complained to Andy that someone yesterday has smashed her halloween pumpkin. Andy gives her one of his pumpkins.
After a while they go to Dolores house to make preparations for the coming party (in two days). With the fear that her new pumpkin will be smashed again, they think of a plan. To dressed up like ghosts and wait outside of the house for the truckers to come and scare them first!
The plan was a failure, the pumpkin was smashed!! The next day is Dolores party. It is a big success and everyone is happy. But the best part is the gift of Andy: a new pumpkin!!
