Hawaii is a very beautiful place. it is a land full of legends. an old legend has to do with the Hula dance. This dance is started by Hi’iaki and her friend Hopoe. when they were on the coast they noticed the waves of the sea and imitated them. This is how this beautiful dance began, but not everyone liked the Hula. Hawaiians did not allow this dance to be done in public. this opinion changed years later when Hula became a very beautiful dance. schools were opened to teach hula. a good teacher in hula dancing was Kumano Palini Kulalam. it is not only a hula dance but also a decoration in the clothes worn by the dancers. Hula is in every festival. Today in Hawaii, Hula dancing is a tradition.
